In this chapter
This chapter sets out what UAE clinics publish about implant, graft, sinus lift and full-arch prices, who may place implants, how insurance treats them, and what that means for the decision journey and for marketing. The central finding is that a single "implant price" does not exist in public data: clinic pages price placement, abutment, crown and adjuncts as separate components on different bases, from AED 1,905 for a Dubai implant surgery step to AED 6,500 for a Dubai "from" price whose scope is unconfirmed, while aggregator bands for one implant run from AED 3,000 to 15,000 depending on emirate (Truly Dental, 2026; DentalDate, 2026).
In brief
Six providers in the collected set publish implant prices on their own pages; five are in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, one in Ajman, and none in Sharjah or the other northern emirates.
Component prices differ widely by provider: placement ranges from a Truly Dental surgery step from AED 1,905 (Dubai) to True Smile Straumann placement at AED 5,500 to 6,500 (Abu Dhabi); implant crowns from AED 1,500 excluding VAT (Mediclinic) to AED 5,000 (True Smile).
Adjuncts are priced separately where published: bone graft from AED 6,050 and sinus lift from AED 6,050 (The Dome MedDental, Dubai, +5% VAT); bone grafting AED 5,160 to 5,400 (True Smile).
Full-arch prices are rare: Truly Dental full-mouth implants from AED 25,000 per arch and True Smile full-mouth rehabilitation from AED 75,000 per case are the only clinic-published figures; Bookimed's UAE All-on-4 figure of about USD 7,500 does not state its basis.
On Zavis's indicative basis, a single implant runs AED 5,000 to 15,000 in Dubai and AED 3,000 to 8,500 in Umm Al Quwain; Zavis found provider-published single-implant prices only in Dubai.
MOHAP-licensed general dentists may not place implants unless they meet MOHAP implant privilege requirements. Abu Dhabi's Jawda dental guidance requires quarterly reporting of implant late mechanical failure at 3 to 18 months from Q1 2026 (DoH Abu Dhabi).
Basic mandatory plans in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the northern emirates do not fund implants; Thiqa requires prior authorisation for implants at private providers; enhanced plans report annual dental limits of about AED 1,500 to 3,500.
Federal public-sector implant activity rose from 110 procedures in 2020 to 813 in 2024 to early October at Emirates Health Services.
What an "implant price" can mean
An implant treatment is a chain of components. Assessment and imaging come first; a surgeon places the implant fixture; an abutment connects the fixture to the restoration; a crown (or a bridge or full-arch prosthesis) completes the case; bone grafting, sinus lift or tissue regeneration may be added after assessment; follow-up and maintenance continue afterwards. Clinic pages in the UAE price these links separately or bundle some of them, and they rarely say which.
The published examples show the range of practice. Mediclinic's Abu Dhabi and Al Ain offer prices "surgical implant placement with final transmucosal element" at AED 3,500 per implant including VAT, and an implant-supported porcelain-fused-to-metal crown at AED 1,500 excluding VAT, for self-pay patients only. Saudi German Hospital Ajman's AED 2,200 implant package includes the implant, consultation, OPG and a 5-year warranty and excludes the crown, graft and CBCT. The Dome MedDental in JLT, Dubai, prices the implant from AED 6,160 with the crown separate from AED 3,850, both subject to 5% VAT, and states the first consultation is free. DentalDate's "from AED 6,500" does not say whether abutment and crown are included. Most clinic menus do not state whether the implant price includes abutment and crown; where stated, it is recorded in the basis column below.

| True Smile, Al Reem Island (Abu Dhabi) | 5,500 to 6,500 placement | 5,000 | Crown is a separate line item | Straumann | Observed 27 Oct 2026 | True Smile [Platform] |
| Saudi German Hospital Ajman (Ajman) | Crown not included | Crown not included | 2,200 package (implant, consultation, OPG, 5-year warranty) | Not stated | Excludes crown, graft, CBCT; VAT not stated | Saudi German Hospital Ajman [Platform] |
Truly Dental's menu illustrates the risk in component pricing. Its staged menu lists implant surgery from AED 1,905 and a crown from AED 1,722; the arithmetic sum is AED 3,627, matching a separate combination entry, but another crown section lists AED 3,500 (Truly Dental, 2026). The price basis is therefore qualified, and the lower component sum should not be read as a general price for implant cases.
Published implant components range from AED 1,500 to AED 6,160 depending on provider and item

What it means for marketersAn ad or landing page that shows only the lowest component invites price-related enquiries that end in disappointment at consultation. Label every published implant figure as placement, crown, combined, package or full arch, and state what is excluded.
Brands and systems
Implant brands appear in very few public prices. True Smile names Straumann for its placement range. On DrFive, ZeeDent and Pearl Dental Clinic reference BioHorizons, and DentisTree Dental Clinic in Jumeirah prices a single implant with zirconia crown at AED 5,200 to 8,400 for code holders, a range it says spans Osstem, Megagen, Straumann, Nobel Biocare and Zimmer. No other collected row names a system.
Manufacturers describe the region in qualitative terms. At AEEDC Dubai in January 2026, Straumann called the Middle East "a region of impressive growth and diversity", listed its iEXCEL implant system, iGuide guided surgery, Fast Molar Solution and SIRIOS X3 intra-oral scanner, and said distributor markets remain central to its strategy; it gave no UAE figures (Dental Tribune Middle East). In Q1 2026 Straumann described the geopolitical impact as "limited", while Envista reported declining sales in Middle Eastern markets affected by the regional conflict, without a figure (Dental Tribune International). One research vendor estimates the UAE dental implant product market at USD 24.90m in 2023, rising to USD 51.10m by 2030 at 10.8% a year; this is a product market estimate, not patient spending (Insights10).
ONS reading Brand names matter to a minority of implant patients but carry weight in price comparisons, because aggregators and clinics use them to explain ranges. A clinic that names its system should name it consistently on the price page, the consultation summary and the written quotation, and should avoid implying clinical superiority of one brand over another. Any longevity or success-rate claim needs procedure-specific evidence and clinic review.
Bone graft, sinus lift and other adjuncts
Adjunct procedures are priced by only three clinics in the set. The Dome MedDental lists bone graft and sinus lift each from AED 6,050 "when required", plus 5% VAT. True Smile lists bone grafting at AED 5,160 to 5,400, with volume and scope requiring confirmation. Mediclinic's Abu Dhabi offer prices guided tissue regeneration and periodontal surgery at AED 2,000 per site including VAT. Saudi German Hospital Ajman explicitly excludes graft and CBCT from its implant package. Zavis's Abu Dhabi "single-tooth implant pathway" total of AED 6,000 to 20,200 covers consultation, imaging, extraction, implant and crown but excludes grafting.
Imaging rules also shape the adjunct conversation. Dubai's Clinical Guidelines for Dental Radiology version 2 (issued 31 December 2025, effective 1 March 2026) allow CBCT only when conventional radiography cannot answer the clinical question, require a history and examination first, and require a quality assurance programme at every CBCT facility (DHA).
All-on-4, full arch and full-mouth rehabilitation
Per-arch pricing must say which arch it covers. A "full-mouth" label can describe both arches, a broad restorative plan or a marketing category, so it cannot be assumed to mean the same across providers. The collected evidence is thin.

| Estimate | DrFive listing, oral surgeon (Dubai) | Same-day extraction, implant and crown | AED 13,000 (list 15,000) | Per tooth package; code holders only | DrFive listing: oral surgeon [Estimate] |
Truly's figure is per arch and True Smile's is per case, so the two are not comparable. Bookimed's figures are in USD and were not converted, in line with the rule against estimating. A named UAE clinic page with an All-on-4 or All-on-6 per-arch price, outside the draft providers, was not found.
The demand base for full-arch care is modelled rather than measured. The WHO country profile estimates edentulism at 4.8% of UAE adults aged 20 and over and severe periodontal disease at 21.1% of those aged 15 and over, both 2019 modelled values (World Health Organization). Abu Dhabi data for Thiqa cardholders in 2017 recorded periodontal disease at 27 per 100 adults (Gulf News citing DoH Abu Dhabi).
Observed ranges by emirate
The only implant figures that share a basis across all emirates are Zavis's indicative single-implant ranges. Zavis states they are compiled by it and not taken from a published price list, so they are an observed range of one compiler's estimates, not a market range.
Zavis puts Dubai's indicative single-implant band at AED 5,000 to 15,000, the widest and highest

| UAE-wide | n/a | Gulf News expert estimate, implant with restoration 5,000 to 15,000 per tooth (22 Oct 2026) | Gulf News [Estimate] |
Three points stand out. First, Zavis found provider-published single-implant prices only in Dubai, and the AED 3,627 at the bottom of that range equals Truly Dental's listed combination price, so the aggregator band may partly echo one clinic. Second, the Gulf News expert range of AED 5,000 to 15,000 for an implant with restoration matches Zavis's Dubai indicative band exactly but is presented as UAE-wide. Third, the DrFive offers are discount-code prices with a stated list price beside them, so they show how deep platform promotions go rather than what non-code patients pay.
DrFive code-holder offers for an implant with crown sit well below the clinics' stated list prices

ONS reading Implant pricing in the UAE is a credibility contest. The aggregator bands are wide enough that almost any clinic price sits inside them, and the cheapest public figures are component or code-holder prices. A clinic gains more from explaining its quotation basis, with a dated example of what a single-tooth case includes, than from competing on the lowest headline. A low entry fee that hides mandatory components is the weak-pilot pattern described in Chapter 08.
Who may place implants: regulation and privileges
The rules differ by licensing authority, and the published texts available for this book are partial.
Table 4. Regulatory facts relevant to implant services

Workforce data show how few named implant specialists sit behind the volume of implant marketing. Dubai's 2024 dentist workforce of 4,580 included 107 consultants and 1,204 specialists across all specialties (DHA; Dubai Health Authority). Partial counts from the DHA Sheryan register, read in April 2026, matched 8 implantology dentists (6.6%), 6 periodontists and 4 prosthodontists among 122 dentists at Business Bay facilities, and 7 implantology dentists, 11 prosthodontists and 7 periodontists among 243 dentists in Umm Suqeim (Zavis). These area counts cover only facilities whose address names a mapped area (3,021 of 5,505 Dubai facilities), so they show mix, not totals (Zavis). No count of implantologists or oral surgeons by emirate is published (DHA, 2024).
Enforcement in Abu Dhabi shows that scope matters in practice: in February 2024 the DoH closed a dental clinic for unlicensed staff, non-compliant sterilisation and operating outside its licensed field, among other findings (Arabian Business citing DoH).
What it means for marketersImplant pages and ads should name the treating clinician and their licensed title, and should be published only for branches where that clinician practises. In the MOHAP emirates, a general dentist promoting implant placement needs to hold the matching MOHAP privilege before the page goes live.
Advertising rules that bite on implant content
Dubai's ST-21 social media standard (version 1.1, effective 3 October 2022) requires that ads state treatment risks and carry a visible warning for surgical or invasive procedures, bans comparative claims and absolute words such as "the safest", "assured success", "100%" and "immediate results", and allows medical content and procedure details to be advertised only by DHA-licensed healthcare professionals (Khaleej Times, 2026; DHA). Before-and-after images must show the same individual with the same lens and a "results may vary" disclaimer in the same font size (DHA, 2022). Section 8.1.14 addresses misleading content, fear and unnecessary demand (Dubai Health Authority, 2022). Price ads may state fees and instalment plans but not prices without conditions (DHA). Google lists invasive medical procedures, including surgical procedures, as a restricted category for personalised advertising, and users under 18 are not eligible for personalised ads. Meta's terms bar sharing business tool data that includes or is based on health information, which limits conversion tracking from implant enquiry forms (ConductAtlas, 2025).
How insurance treats implants
Implants are, for most UAE residents, self-pay or partly funded through an enhanced plan's dental limit. The mandatory basic tiers do not fund them.
Table 5. Insurance treatment of implants and dental prostheses
| Plan or segment | What the source says | Geography and date | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dubai Essential Benefits Plan (Orient Insurance table of benefits) | General exclusion: "All expenses relating to dental treatment, dental prostheses, and orthodontic treatments"; dental and gum treatment in emergency only, 20% coinsurance; annual limit AED 150,000 with no separate dental limit | Dubai; c. Jun 2024 | Al-Futtaim Insurance UAE [Platform] |
| Abu Dhabi Basic plan (Daman policy wording) | Policy definitions describe dental cover as accident-related only: sound natural teeth, accidents in the policy period, treatment within 72 hours; schedule of benefits and exclusions not readable | Abu Dhabi; 2024 | Daman [Platform] |
| Northern emirates basic package (MOHRE) | AED 320 a year from 1 Jan 2025; dental not covered per MOHRE page; press report lists "Dental care" and "Cosmetic healthcare" among exclusions; dependants may join on the same benefits and prices | Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, RAK, UAQ; 2025 | MOHRE; Gulf News [Official] |
| Thiqa (Emirati nationals, Abu Dhabi) | Dental covered at 50% at private providers and 100% at SEHA providers; bridges, crowns, orthodontics, dentures and implants require authorisation at private network providers | Abu Dhabi; undated | Thiqa [Official] |
| Thiqa Top-Up (Daman) | Dental benefits are offered under Thiqa Top-Up plans | Abu Dhabi; accessed Oct 2026 | Daman [Platform] |
| Enhanced and add-on plans | Annual dental limits about AED 1,500 to 3,500 with about 20% co-payment (insurer executive, Gulf News); implants may be limited to higher tiers (broker); co-insurance example 20% to 30% per visit | UAE; Jun and Oct 2026 | Gulf News; InsuranceMarket.ae [Industry] [Platform] |
| Federal public sector (EHS) | General dentistry free for UAE citizens and GCC nationals with a valid Health Card; other residents charged per regulations | Northern emirates and EHS Dubai sites; accessed Oct 2026 | Emirates Health Services [Official] |
Against those limits, a single implant case priced from published components exceeds a typical enhanced-plan dental limit: True Smile's placement and crown alone total at least AED 10,500, and The Dome's at least AED 10,010 before VAT (ONS arithmetic from published components). Older survey data point the same way: in a 2020 YouGov survey commissioned by Align Technology, one third of UAE respondents had dental in their insurance, and of those 47% were covered for AED 3,000 or less a year; 62% cited affordability as a barrier (Arabian Business).
Payment tools fill part of the gap. Tabby lists dental merchants offering 4 interest-free instalments, including Al Bahri Dental and Orthodontic Center, and Tamara's healthcare page offers splitting clinic fees over up to 4 months. No count of BNPL-enabled dental clinics and no dental membership plan prices were found (Tabby).
Public-sector implant activity and dental tourism
Emirates Health Services, the federal provider, reported 813 implant procedures in 2024 to early October, against 110 in 2020; the headline says patients but the body says procedures, and the 2024 figure is a part-year count. EHS open data, with no year stated, record 108,062 dental treatments across its network (EHS).
EHS implant procedures rose from 110 in 2020 to 813 in 2024 (part year)

Dentistry was the top specialty among Dubai's international health tourists in 2023 at 29% of demand, up from 24% in 2022 and 18% in 2021, within 691,000 health tourists spending more than AED 1.03bn in 2023 (DHA via Dubai Media Office and Al Ain News, 2021 to 2023; Dubai Media Office). Dental tourists in 2023 came 48% from Arab and GCC countries, 20% from Europe and 19% from Asia (Dubai Media Office). No procedure split is published, so the implant share of dental tourism is unknown. The 2026 regional conflict cut Dubai's overnight visitors to 6.97m from January to August 2026, against 19.59m in all of 2025, with August 2026 the strongest month since late February at 869,000 visitors (The National citing Dubai government/Dubai Media Office). Abu Dhabi's DoH medical tourism programme of 40 facilities and more than 287 packages does not list dental among its specialties (DoH Abu Dhabi, 2024). For comparison, Turkey recorded about 1.5 million health visitors and just over USD 3.0bn revenue in 2024, with no dental share given (Turkey, not UAE).
The decision journey
Implant enquiries cover a missing tooth, several teeth, an unstable denture, a full arch or complex rehabilitation. Those needs should not all land on a generic low-price implant page. The ONS draft frames the journey around five patient questions, each with a page response and an internal measure:
What does the price include? Distinguish placement, abutment, restoration and potential adjuncts; measure the quality of price-related enquiries.
Who will assess me? Show the verified clinician role and branch availability; measure correctly routed consultations.
Am I suitable? Explain individual assessment, alternatives and limitations; record clinical eligibility after assessment.
How many visits are involved? Describe case-specific stages and follow-up; measure attendance across the pathway.
What if I decide later? Provide a clear written plan and permission-based follow-up; measure mature acceptance by enquiry cohort.
Anxiety shapes the journey. In a 2023 study of 206 adult oral-surgery patients in Dubai, 72.3% reported moderate or high dental anxiety; extraction or surgery was the most anxiety-provoking item (95%), and tell-show-do (70%) and communication strategies (65%) were the preferred ways to reduce it (Alansaari et al., IJERPH 20; Alansaari et al.). Reviews feature in provider choice: 35% of UAE respondents in a YouGov study regularly use online reviews when choosing healthcare services, against a 23% average across 17 markets. In a US survey of 1,099 adults, quality of treatment (90%) and cost (59%) led the factors for choosing a dentist (US, not UAE) (Dentaly.org, 2023).
Audit every component in the advertised price
The starting figure is often only one part of the case. The draft's component audit should be completed before any price is published.
Table 6. Component audit before publishing an implant price
| Cost component | Check before publishing | Model treatment | Published example | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Assessment and imaging | Included, separately charged or conditional? | Include expected clinically required cost | Saudi German Ajman includes consultation and OPG, excludes CBCT; The Dome first consultation free, specialist consultation AED 250 | Saudi German Hospital Ajman; The Dome MedDental Clinic [Platform] |
| Implant placement | System and scope clearly stated? | Variable case cost | True Smile names Straumann; Mediclinic states "with final transmucosal element" | True Smile; Mediclinic [Platform] |
| Abutment and crown | Included in headline or separate? | Include restoration and laboratory cost | Truly lists two different crown entries (from AED 1,722 and AED 3,500) | Truly Dental [Platform] |
| Grafting or other adjuncts | Only after assessment; possible extra fee? | Case-specific, not assumed for everyone | The Dome bone graft and sinus lift each from AED 6,050 "when required" | The Dome MedDental Clinic [Platform] |
| Temporary and final prosthesis | Which is included and when? | Reserve future delivery obligation | Truly full-mouth implants per arch: final prosthesis needs clarification | Truly Dental [Platform] |

For comparison work, label each observation as a component, a starting fee, a per-arch price or a complete written quotation, and do not rank clinics by a mixture of those units. Even similarly named crowns can differ in preparatory work, material and aftercare. Published prices in this book are observations, not offers made by ONS or confirmed quotations for a patient.
Marketing implications
Campaign design
Separate single-tooth and full-arch intent where there is sufficient demand and distinct clinical capacity. Keep brand navigation separate from generic search, and use location and language based on the real branch experience. Price queries can lead to an explanation of the quotation basis without promising a universal fee. Reception should confirm access and arrange assessment, not diagnose suitability or recommend extraction. Clinical ineligibility is a legitimate outcome and should be reported separately, so that no one pressures staff to raise a conversion rate by weakening assessment.
Paid media benchmarks for implants are US-only. In the US, "dental implants cost" carries a CPC of USD 12 to 25 with 74,000 monthly searches, and the cost per booked patient for implants and cosmetic work is put at USD 350 to 500 against USD 150 to 200 for general dentistry; both are secondary estimates without method (US, not UAE) (WebTonic citing SoftScotch / KeyGrow; WebTonic citing CUFinder). The 2026 WordStream benchmark for US dentists on Google search is a CPC of USD 8.00, a conversion rate of 10.67% and a cost per lead of USD 72.97. No UAE implant keyword volume or CPC dataset was available (WordStream / LocaliQ, 2025).
Full-arch care needs a longer measurement window
Full-arch cases take months from enquiry to delivered prosthesis, so the dashboard should distinguish the enquiry-month cohort from the month cash arrives. The draft's stages are: enquiry (service interest, branch and source); assessment (attendance and clinician-determined suitability); written plan (case scope and quote date); decision (accepted, deferred or declined, with broad reason); care delivery (started, completed and follow-up status); and financial maturity (collections, refunds and remaining obligations). Without this split, a recent campaign may look weak while older cases generate revenue, or a new deposit may look profitable before the restoration is delivered.
ONS reading Prepare a quotation-basis sheet shared by the website editor, the ads specialist and the reception team. Record the approved wording, effective date, VAT treatment, exclusions and the person responsible for price changes, and remove stale offers promptly when the clinic changes its menu. A care coordinator can answer logistics, clarify written scope and offer another discussion with the clinician; follow-up should be permission-based and sensitive to a person's decision. Avoid scarcity claims, pressure to extract teeth and incentives tied to accepting a larger treatment plan. High-value treatment deserves extra analytical attention, but it is not the preferred clinical option for every patient, and marketing should never present it that way.
What it means for marketersWith insurance limits well below a single implant case, the decision is a self-pay purchase for most residents. Pages that answer cost, stages, clinician and payment questions in plain language, with risks stated as ST-21 requires, are more defensible and more useful than offer-led creative.
Gaps in the evidence
No public data. No clinic-published implant price was found in Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah or Umm Al Quwain, and no Al Ain price beyond the Mediclinic offer. No named UAE clinic page outside the draft providers publishes an All-on-4 or All-on-6 per-arch price (Bookimed, 2026). Abutment prices are not published separately by any provider in the set. The DHA implant guideline (Version 2, March 2026) text and the DoH sedation standard could not be read (DHA). No count of implantologists, prosthodontists or oral surgeons by emirate is published; Sheryan area counts are partial (Zavis, 2026; Zavis). No UAE data on implant case volume in the private sector, implant share of dental tourism, implant keyword demand or acceptance rates after assessment were found. Insurer schedules showing implant sub-limits were not retrievable (InsuranceMarket.ae). A future edition should capture clinic implant menus in every emirate on one date with abutment, crown, graft and VAT recorded separately; request DoH Jawda DQ02 aggregate results if published; obtain the DHA Version 2 implant guideline text; and collect UAE search volumes for implant terms from a keyword planner export.
