Laser and energy devices22 min read · Sources & credits

This chapter covers laser hair removal, tattoo removal, carbon peels and pigmentation lasers, resurfacing, RF microneedling and Morpheus8, HIFU and Ultherapy. Laser hair removal has the most detailed published pricing in the book, with clinic-published area and package prices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman, and it is the service where the definition of an "area" changes the price most. Energy devices such as HIFU, Morpheus8 and fractional lasers are the opposite: almost no clinic publishes a price, and one Sharjah centre's HIFU session at AED 200 sits beside a Dubai clinic's AED 2,500 to 5,000 (ESMC, 2026; WhatClinic, 2026).

In brief

Clinic-published single-session full-body laser hair removal prices run from AED 225 at an Ajman hospital to AED 1,800 at a Dubai hospital clinic, on area definitions that differ.

One Dubai clinic's six-session female full-body package costs AED 3,294, or AED 549 per session by ONS arithmetic, 31.3% below six single sessions at AED 799 (Australian Laser Clinics Dubai, 2026).

An Abu Dhabi hospital's Eid promotion priced full body with chest and back at AED 399 for one session and AED 1,599 for six, non-refundable (Emirates Hospitals Group).

Sharjah's clinic offers are mostly packages: six full-body sessions excluding back and abdomen for AED 1,200 and six underarm sessions for AED 500 (Orchid Medical Center).

A Dubai clinic's laser page titled for Fujairah lists only Dubai addresses; its prices are counted as Dubai prices (Dynamic Life Clinics).

In Dubai, hair laser and IPL need a separate DHA hair laser licence, the provider's gender must match the patient's except for the face and external extremities, and the laser room must be at least 7.5 m2 (DHA v2, 2022, since updated to v2.1) (DHA).

In Abu Dhabi, laser hair removal is the one non-surgical cosmetic procedure allowed under 18, from age 16 with referral to a dermatologist (DoH Abu Dhabi).

Providers claim 6 to 8 laser hair removal sessions are typically needed; these are provider statements, not clinical guidance (Silkor UAE; Dynamic Life Clinics).

No clinic-published price was found for CO2 or fractional laser, Ultherapy or Morpheus8 by name; the only figures are unsourced UAE-wide ranges (UAE Free Zone Finder).

Market and supply context

Device market estimates are inconsistent. Mordor Intelligence puts the UAE aesthetic devices market at USD 174.72m in 2025 and USD 196.64m in 2026, with hospitals at 43.11% of end-user share, and cites competing estimates of USD 207.21m (2023) and USD 215.21m (2025) from other firms. Market Data Forecast puts the UAE at 24.4% of a USD 0.67bn Middle East and Africa medical aesthetics devices market in 2025. A Grand View Research forecast of USD 1.75bn for UAE laser hair removal by 2030 looks high against every other UAE estimate, and Data Bridge's USD 15.25bn UAE devices figure is likely a unit error; neither should be used.

No UAE search volume for laser hair removal was found. The only cost-per-lead figure for Dubai laser and aesthetic consultations is an agency claim of AED 150 to 500 per lead, without method or date. A US agency compilation puts laser hair removal keyword CPCs at USD 4 to 12; that is a US figure and not a UAE benchmark (Web Tonic, 2025 to 2026). In a US index of AI answers on aesthetics, Morpheus8 was among the five brands most cited by AI assistants, which suggests device brand names are now part of how patients research energy treatments (Everything-PR, 2026).

These rules shape marketing directly. A Dubai clinic that advertises laser hair removal for men and women needs staff of both genders available for body areas, and an Abu Dhabi clinic advertising to under-18s other than for laser hair removal from 16 would breach the DoH standard (DHA; DoH Abu Dhabi). A licensed provider's packages page in the evidence states that its laser packages are delivered by DHA-licensed nurses (myAster).

The same Abu Dhabi hospital publishes two different three-session full-body prices: AED 999 in its Eid promotion and AED 2,000 with a free Silkpeel on a separate package page, neither dated (Emirates Hospitals Group). The two conflict, and a patient who finds both will not know which applies. Bellora's Abu Dhabi guide gives AED 100 to 650 per session and AED 1,350 to 1,650 for a three-session package.

A Sharjah clinic's blog gives face AED 300 to 500, underarms AED 200 to 400 and full body AED 1,500 to 3,000 per session, while another Sharjah clinic's blog reports a seven-clinic Sharjah sample spanning AED 120 to 15,000 and a UAE single-session median of AED 170 (EIMC; Cosmolaser Medical Centre, Sharjah, 2026). Neither is a price list. The Knights Bridge listing appears on Fresha's Sharjah page with the address Al Mamzar; its branch emirate was not independently verified for this edition.

The chart puts nine published full-body prices side by side, but they are not on the same basis. Some include the chest and back, one excludes the doctor's consultation, two are offers and one does not state whether the price is per session (Ajman Specialty General Hospital, 2026; Emirates Hospitals Group). Male full-body prices are higher where both are published: AED 1,299 against AED 799 at one Dubai clinic and AED 599 against AED 449 at another (Australian Laser Clinics Dubai, 2026; Dynamic Life Clinics).

Package arithmetic

Clinics rarely print the per-session equivalent of a package. The table calculates the per-session price and the saving compared with buying single sessions at the same clinic. This is ONS arithmetic on one provider's menu at a time, not a comparison of emirates.

Package discounts against the same clinic's single sessions range from 11.0% to 50.0% in this set (Dynamic Life Clinics; myAster). Package size also varies: four, five and six sessions are all used, and one Abu Dhabi offer gives a fifth session free (Australian Laser Clinics Dubai, 2026; Ajman Specialty General Hospital, 2026).

Session counts claimed by providers

Providers state how many sessions patients typically need, and those statements set expectations for package sales. Silkor, which has branches in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah, says laser hair removal "typically needs 6-8 sessions". Dynamic Life Clinics suggests 6 to 8 sessions, 4 to 6 for underarms, at intervals of 4 to 10 weeks. A Sharjah medical centre's blog says 6 to 8 sessions followed by maintenance every 6 to 12 months, and another Sharjah clinic's blog says 6 to 8 sessions are recommended. Bellora says courses typically run 6 to 10 sessions, and a 2021 Gulf News review said most people need 5 to 10 sessions, 4 to 6 weeks apart. These are provider and press statements; this book does not specify clinical course length.

Ajman publishes more carbon peel and pigmentation laser prices than any other emirate in the evidence, mostly as offers. Tattoo removal prices exist only in Dubai and only for small tattoos or as a "starting" price (Australian Laser Clinics Dubai, 2026; Emirates Hospitals Group). Pigmentation marketing also needs care with platform rules: Snap prohibits skin lightening products and procedures in ads.

Resurfacing, RF microneedling and Morpheus8

Energy-based skin treatments are priced by very few clinics. Canadian Specialist Hospital in Deira, Dubai, publishes an RF microneedling package of four sessions at AED 3,750 and RF microneedling with PRP, four sessions, at AED 4,550, with VAT and validity not stated. Knights Bridge Medical Center, on Fresha's Sharjah page, lists RF microneedling from AED 1,000 for 20 minutes. No clinic-published Morpheus8 or fractional laser price was found (UAE Free Zone Finder). A 2026 UAE guide that names no clinic and cites no source gives Morpheus8 at AED 2,000 to 5,000 per session and Fraxel at AED 2,000 to 5,000 per session (UAE Free Zone Finder). PlacidWay gives Morpheus8 or RF microneedling at USD 600 to 1,500 per session, also with no clinic named. Emirates Hospital in Abu Dhabi advertises 30% off laser resurfacing and microneedling, with no AED base (Emirates Hospitals Group).

HIFU, Ultherapy and other tightening

The two clinic-published HIFU prices conflict by a factor of more than ten. ESMC in Sharjah lists HIFU at AED 200 per session, with treatment area, device and inclusions to be confirmed. Dr Kamil Alrustom Skin and Laser Centre in Dubai lists HIFU at AED 2,500 to 5,000 on WhatClinic, basis not stated. The difference may reflect area, device or protocol, but neither page says which. Ultherapy is given as AED 3,000 to 8,000 for full face and neck in the same unsourced 2026 guide, and is included in an Abu Dhabi hospital's 30% cosmetic dermatology discount with no AED base (UAE Free Zone Finder; Emirates Hospitals Group). Enfield Royal in Abu Dhabi advertises Endolift for the face at AED 2,499 as a limited offer.

Energy-device prices are rarely published: HIFU appears at AED 200 in Sharjah and AED 2,500 to 5,000 in Dubai

Published or indicative price per session or treatment, AED, UAE, 2026; two clinic-published HIFU listings (Platform) and three UAE-wide unsourced ranges (Estimate); bases differ

No public data. No clinic-published price was found in any emirate for CO2 or fractional laser resurfacing, Ultherapy, Morpheus8 by name, or tattoo removal beyond small tattoos. No clinic-published laser price of any kind was found in Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah or Umm Al Quwain (Zavis, 2026; Zavis). A future edition should collect energy-device prices by device name, area and session from named clinics in each emirate, and record whether the device brand is stated, since brand names now appear in AI answers (Everything-PR, 2026).

Price the area and course explicitly

Laser hair reduction, resurfacing and tightening need different pages and different economics.

Service groupCommercial distinctionPage requirement
Hair reductionSmall area versus full body; single versus prepaid courseExact included areas and assessment
Resurfacing and textureDevice, concern and plan differClinician review and quotation basis
Tattoo and pigment workArea and case complexity differAssessment and scope of price
Skin tighteningDevice and area matterNo vague full-face claims in place of a defined treatment
Body energy treatmentsApplicators, areas and sessions change costComplete plan and delivery cost (Chapter 13)

Organise local laser pages by service, body area and location to match how people search. That does not establish search volume, and it does not remove the need for clinical assessment. A branch should advertise only the devices and services it can provide with the appropriate licensed team.

Use the calendar as part of the acquisition model

A clinic selling treatment courses needs to offer patients reliable access to repeat appointments. A package campaign commits the clinic to providing future appointments. Strong sales can therefore create waiting times that disrupt later sessions.

Operating issueMarketing consequenceAction
Limited evening slotsMore bookings may create longer waitsAdvertise realistic availability and protect follow-up slots
Undefined full-body areaPrice comparison becomes misleadingPublish inclusions and exclusions consistently
Package expiry or refund ambiguityEnquiries convert with avoidable dissatisfactionExplain terms before payment
Multiple devices or branchesThe delivered service may differ from the adRoute by actual branch capability
Missed sessionsCourse contribution and outcomes become hard to interpretTrack rescheduling and remaining session obligations
Gender-matched staffing for body areas (Dubai)Demand from one gender may exceed matched-staff capacityPlan rosters before campaigns that target one gender

Measure new-course sales separately from session visits. A patient who attends six sessions remains one acquired patient for acquisition cost analysis; sessions are counted for capacity and delivery-cost reporting. This prevents repeat sessions from being counted as newly acquired patients.

ONS reading: presenting laser prices Name every area in a package and say what "full body" includes and excludes, because the evidence shows the same phrase covering different areas at different clinics. Print the single-session price, the package price and the per-session equivalent together, and state whether the consultation, VAT and any patch test are included. Date seasonal offers and remove them when they end: an undated Eid promotion beside a regular package page on the same site produces two prices for the same course. Avoid absolute claims such as painless or permanent results, which the DHA social media standard's ban on "100%" and "immediate results" wording also covers.

ONS reading: regional pages and energy devices A Dubai clinic's page titled for Fujairah, with Dubai addresses only, sends a patient searching locally to a branch two emirates away; publish location pages only for branches you operate, or say plainly where treatment takes place. For energy devices, the lack of published prices is an opportunity: a page that names the device, the area, the session count and the price, with clinician-reviewed suitability information, would be one of very few primary sources available to patients and AI assistants. Do not use a provider's promotional description of a device as independent medical evidence.

A useful testCompare search campaigns for specific treatment areas with a broader clinic search campaign for the same branch and period. Review the quality of valid enquiries and the number of attended consultations. If area-specific traffic converts well but capacity is tight, improve slot allocation before raising the budget.

Gaps in the evidence

Missing emirates, areas and devices. Laser hair removal prices exist for Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman, but Sharjah prices come from one centre's packages and one booking listing whose emirate needs confirming (Orchid Medical Center; Fresha). No UAE laser hair removal search volume, course completion rate or package expiry rate was found. Device prices other than two HIFU listings and two RF microneedling sources are unsourced estimates (ESMC, 2026; WhatClinic, 2026). Clinical suitability, device settings and course length are decisions for the treating professional, and this book does not specify them.
