Intimate, wellness and regenerative services20 min read · Sources & credits
In this chapter

This chapter covers services offered alongside the core cosmetic treatments: intimate aesthetics for women and men, IV drips and wellness add-ons, exosomes and other regenerative labels, and PRP sold as rejuvenation. Demand signals are strong, with 22,000 average monthly UAE Google searches for IV drips in 2025, but regulation and evidence are thin: no DHA standard for IV therapy was found, Google does not allow ads for speculative and experimental medical treatments, and Dubai permits PRP only on the face and hair.

In brief

A Fresha analysis of Ahrefs and Google Trends data puts UAE average monthly Google searches at 22,000 for IV drip, 18,000 for polynucleotide injection and 4,000 for plasma fibroblast (Jan to Sep 2025).

In YouGov's Anti-ageing Report 2026, 14% of UAE respondents had used vitamin injections and 20% were interested in trying them, against 6% who had used Botox.

Published IV drip entry prices: from AED 249 in Abu Dhabi (Central Clinic), from AED 250 in Dubai (Nightingale Polyclinic, home or clinic) and from AED 499 in Dubai on a directory.

A press report cites a UAE IV hydration therapy market projection of USD 22.9m by 2030 and notes no DHA or DoH IV rule; no DHA IV therapy standard was found (Khaleej Times, 2024).

Exosome sessions are published at AED 999 (Emirates Hospital, Motor City, with consultation), from AED 1,000 (Dr Azra) and AED 1,199 on offer (Reveal Medical Center, hair).

Google does not allow ads for speculative and experimental medical treatments and allows cell and gene therapy ads only if exclusively educational.

One Dubai clinic publishes labiaplasty at AED 14,999 to 30,000, vaginal fillers from AED 3,000 and labia fillers from AED 3,500 (Perfect Doctors).

No clinic-published price was found for any male intimate service in any emirate.

DHA classes marketing as a secondary use of patient health information that needs consent and DHA permission, which applies with particular force to intimate services.

Scope: adjacent services, separate pathways

These categories appear in a comprehensive cosmetic clinic inventory, but each has its own evidence base, regulator and level of sensitivity. Broad coverage in this book does not imply a common advertising or clinical pathway, and listing a category is not a recommendation to launch it. ONS's framework is set out below.

Included areaRecommended marketing treatmentEvidence required before promotion
Aesthetic gynaecology and intimate carePrivate specialist consultation and neutral languageExact service, practitioner, approval and evidence

Sensitive services require particularly careful page wording, privacy design and enquiry handling. The first conversion should normally be an appropriate consultation, with the specific intervention decided by the clinical team.

Intimate aesthetics

Published prices

Only one clinic-published price list for female intimate aesthetics was found, from Perfect Doctors Clinic in Umm Suqeim 1, Dubai: labiaplasty at AED 14,999 to 30,000, vaginal fillers from AED 3,000 and labia fillers from AED 3,500. A medical tourism marketplace lists exosome therapy for vaginal rejuvenation in the UAE from USD 1,800, against about USD 1,800 in Turkey and about USD 900 in Austria, and notes that the Dubai clinics it lists give prices only on request (Bookimed, 2026). No price was found for vaginal laser or radiofrequency treatments, and none from Abu Dhabi, Sharjah or the northern emirates.

Official data does not separate aesthetic gynaecology from clinical gynaecology. Gynaecology was 13% of Dubai's international health tourist demand in 2023, which describes all gynaecology, not intimate aesthetics (DHA news 909).

Rules that apply

Labiaplasty is a surgical procedure, so the surgical setting and consent rules in chapter 14 are relevant. Under DHA rules in force from 2025, only licensed plastic surgeons may perform invasive procedures that open the skin for tightening or lifting on the face and body; the research did not find a rule that names labiaplasty (DHA). For injected fillers, the DHA non-surgical standard v2 (2022), since updated to v2.1, limits body fillers to consultant or specialist dermatologists and plastic surgeons (DHA). The research found no DHA, DoH or MOHAP rule written specifically for genital fillers, vaginal energy devices or male intimate procedures, so clinics should confirm with their regulator how the general rules apply.

Platform rules treat these services as cosmetic procedures. Meta requires cosmetic procedure ads to target people aged 18 or over; Snap requires 18+ targeting for non-surgical cosmetic procedures and plastic surgery; TikTok in the UAE requires proof of local regulator approval and 18+ targeting for cosmetic clinic ads and does not allow claims to treat, cure or prevent conditions. Google treats invasive procedures, including cosmetic surgery and injections, as a sensitive health category in which Customer Match, own data segments, audience expansion and lookalikes cannot be used.

Male intimate services

No clinic-published price, and no rule specific to male intimate aesthetics, was found. The audience context is clear: men were 68.52% of Dubai's residents at the end of 2025, and in a University of Sharjah-led survey of 403 adult men in the UAE, 13.2% met a body dysmorphic disorder questionnaire cutoff and those screening positive had 5.8 times the odds of considering cosmetic surgery (Gulf News, end 2025; Haj Hussain et al., Frontiers in Psychiatry 16). Content in this area reaches a large male audience that includes some people for whom a procedure may not be the answer.

ONS reading Intimate services should be marketed with neutral clinical language, a private specialist consultation as the first step, and no performance, confidence or relationship promises. Before-and-after imagery is inappropriate here even where a platform might allow it. Enquiry forms should collect only what is needed to book, offer a choice of clinician gender where the clinic can provide it, and keep these enquiries out of general beauty retargeting audiences.

Privacy for sensitive services

Federal Law No. 2 of 2019 bars using patient information for non-health purposes without written patient consent (Latham & Watkins). The DHA data protection policy classes marketing as a secondary use of patient health information that needs the data subject's consent and DHA permission, and says the information "should not be transferred" outside the UAE except under exemptions in the UAE ICT Health Law and Decision 51 of 2021 with DHA approval. A 2019 law firm summary advises that testimonial consent should be limited to the requested subject and period, and that disclosing private patient information without permission could be a criminal offence (Clyde & Co via Mondaq). The DHA social media standard requires written consent for patient images and that patients must not be identifiable (DHA).

Meta has, since the third quarter of 2025, flagged and disabled custom audiences and conversions whose names, rules or metadata imply sensitive health traits (Accelerated Digital Media, 2025 to 2026). For intimate services that means event names, audience names and URL parameters should never describe the procedure.

IV drips and wellness add-ons

Demand

IV drips attract more search interest than any aesthetic term in the Fresha analysis except Botox: 22,000 average monthly UAE searches against 35,000 for Botox and 15,000 for hair transplants (Jan to Sep 2025). The figures are Ahrefs and Glimpse estimates and the source's period is inconsistent, so they show order of magnitude only. YouGov's Anti-ageing Report 2026 found that 57% of UAE respondents say preventing ageing matters, 14% had used vitamin injections and 20% would consider them, and 25% would not try any listed option.

Providers are positioning for this demand. Kaya announced in May 2025 a plan to rebrand as "Kaya Wellness and Longevity" with diagnostics and app bookings (Images RetailME). Aster Clinics, with 85 clinics plus 13 Access Clinics in the UAE, mentions IV therapies and peptide treatments in its expansion plans (Gulf Business, Jul 2026).

Regulation and market

No DHA standard for IV therapy or wellness centres was found. A Khaleej Times article of March 2025, in which experts warned of potential risks of IV drips for skin brightening, cites a projection of USD 22.9m for the UAE IV hydration therapy market by 2030, a compound annual growth rate of 5.8% from 2024 to 2030, and cites no DHA or DoH IV therapy rule. VAT treatment depends on the product: MOHAP-registered medicines are zero-rated and unregistered medicines are charged at 5%, and elective cosmetic treatment is standard-rated unless prescribed to treat or prevent a medical condition (PwC Middle East; Gulf News).

Home delivery adds risk. MOHAP has warned that unlicensed centres use visiting doctors and cosmeticians and highlighted home services, in a 2018 warning (Gulf News). In August 2025 Dubai Police and DHA arrested three women for unlicensed cosmetic procedures in an apartment, and doctors reported treating complications from illegal home clinics; the public was told to verify licences on the DHA Sheryan app (Gulf News; Khaleej Times).

ONS reading IV drip marketing in the UAE leans heavily on generic promises of detox, glow, immunity and anti-ageing. None of these should appear unless the clinic can point to evidence for the specific product and indication and to the medical approval behind it. The compliant proposition is a medical service: a physician assessment, named ingredients, contraindications, who administers the drip and where. Home-visit offers should show the facility licence and the licensed clinician who attends.

Evidence and approval cautions

A public menu is evidence that a provider advertises a term; it is not evidence that a specific product, indication or route is approved or effective. Menus may use exosomes, growth factors, stem cells, polynucleotides or "regenerative treatment" for products that differ in source, route and regulatory status. This book includes the category in the service taxonomy but does not promote any product or reproduce efficacy claims.

Several rules apply to these claims. The DHA social media standard requires advertising claims to be substantiated and professionals to be competent for the services they advertise (Dubai Health Authority). Federal health advertising rules, as summarised in 2013, bar ads that guarantee effectiveness or claim no side effects (Al Tamimi & Co). MOHAP's social media advertising licence requires product registration certificates among its documents. In September 2025 the UAE Media Council initiated legal proceedings against a social media advertising account over an ad with unverified medical or therapeutic claims lacking scientific backing and health authority approval (Khaleej Times). Google does not allow ads for speculative and experimental medical treatments and allows cell and gene therapy ads only if they are exclusively educational or informational; whether a given exosome product falls under these headings is a judgement the clinic must make with Google's policy team. A reported Meta policy rewrite in July 2026 added bans on cure claims for listed incurable diseases and on clickbait health claims (AuditSocials, Jul 2026).

This is a recommended evidence-review workflow, not a legal determination about every product within these categories.

ONS reading Explain what the evidence supports and how patients can arrange an assessment. If the clinic cannot substantiate a claim, remove it from creative and from the landing page; do not replace it with a softer but equally unsupported promise such as "cell renewal" or "natural regeneration". Keep brand or novelty enquiries separate from general consultations in internal analysis, so the clinic can see whether a campaign attracts people seeking a particular unverified product rather than an appropriate clinical assessment. Share only minimised, aggregated reporting with the marketing team.

PRP as a regenerative claim

Scope rules

PRP is the regenerative service with the clearest rule. A DHA circular of 4 Jun 2025, summarising v2.1 of the non-surgical cosmetic standard, permits PRP injections only on the face and hair, not on the body (Dubai Health Authority; DHA). A trade press article of October 2026 reports that PRP governance was on the agenda at Dubai Derma 2026 and states that the DoH Abu Dhabi non-surgical standard requires a logbook of at least 20 independently performed procedures, a figure not confirmed in the primary text (Zavis Intelligence). In Abu Dhabi, the DoH standard bars non-surgical cosmetic procedures for under-18s except laser hair removal from 16; in Dubai, cosmetic toxin and fillers are not permitted below 18 under v2 (2022), since updated to v2.1 (DoH Abu Dhabi; DHA). No MOHAP or Sharjah rule on PRP scope was found.

The packages show how PRP is being bundled with devices and consultations. Canadian Specialist Hospital's RF microneedling with PRP costs AED 4,550 for four sessions, against AED 3,000 for four PRP derma sessions alone. A bundle with a device makes it harder for a patient to see what the PRP component adds and costs.

For marketersIn Dubai, any page or ad that offers PRP for the body, such as for stretch marks on the body or intimate areas, conflicts with the DHA face-and-hair-only rule (Dubai Health Authority, 2025). Review legacy pages and social posts as well as new campaigns.

Services by emirate

Dubai. Dubai holds the intimate aesthetics prices, the exosome and growth factor prices, most face PRP prices and IV entry prices (Perfect Doctors; Emirates Hospitals Group).

Abu Dhabi. Central Clinic publishes IV drips from AED 249; Dr Azra's joint list covers exosomes and PRP; Emirates Hospital Khalidiyah offers a percentage discount on PRP (Emirates Hospitals Group).

Sharjah. ESMC publishes face PRP with serums at AED 200. No IV, exosome or intimate price was found.

Others. VPM International Healthcare in Ajman publishes PRP through a bank offer. No IV, exosome or intimate price was found for Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah or Umm Al Quwain.

Advertising across these services

Three cross-cutting rules apply. First, age: Meta, Snap and TikTok require 18+ targeting for cosmetic procedure ads, federal health advertising rules bar ads targeting minors, and the Dubai Healthcare City advertising policy bans ads aimed at under-18s. Second, claims: TikTok does not allow claims to treat, cure, heal or prevent conditions in the UAE, and DHA bans terms such as "the best", "safest", "100%" and "immediate results". Third, images: DHA requires before-and-after images of the same person with no editing, a "results may vary" statement and risks in the same font size, and in August 2026 warned that edited images could lead to disciplinary action (DHA; The National).

ONS reading These services are where a clinic's compliance file matters most. The agency should be able to link each substantive claim to its supporting evidence and medical approval. If the evidence or the authorisation cannot be established, keep the service out of active promotion until the gap is resolved. Keep IV, regenerative and intimate services out of generic beauty campaigns, give each its own landing page and consultation route, and keep weight management in its own line as set out in chapter 13.

Gaps in the evidence

No public data. No DHA, DoH or MOHAP standard for IV therapy or wellness centres was found. No list of EDE- or MOHAP-registered exosome, polynucleotide or growth factor products was found. No rule specific to genital fillers, vaginal energy devices or male intimate procedures was located. A future edition should request the DHA and DoH positions on IV therapy and regenerative products and check the Emirates Drug Establishment register for named products.

No public data. No clinic-published price was found for male intimate services, vaginal laser or radiofrequency treatment, polynucleotides or hyperbaric oxygen in any emirate, or for IV drips, exosomes or intimate services in Sharjah and the northern emirates. No UAE data on adverse events from IV, exosome or intimate treatments was found. A future edition should mystery-shop itemised IV menus and intimate aesthetics consultations by emirate and obtain Keyword Planner data for English and Arabic terms.
